CR Workshop
This is a permanent CR workshop post, where players can present characters, character ideas, and CR wishlists. Dropped characters will have their plotting posts screened from view, as will characters that have not been apped within two months of their posting. Players may request to have their screened comments unscreened at any time, this will simply ensure that no one accidentally plots with dropped or unapped characters.
A plotting form has been provided, but you're free to edit it to you're liking, or do things your own way.
To make sure you can edit your character concept and CR requests at any time, follow these steps:
- Post a comment under the mod comment labeled 'PLOTTING THREADS'. Put your player handle or character name in the subject line.
- Create a top level comment with your character concept. The plotting form can be used if you like. Include a link to your plotting comment so if other players want to plot with you, they can comment in your plotting thread.
- Comment on other people's plotting threads, but not the top level. This way players can freely edit their top levels, removing CR roles that have been filled, updating their IC info, and adding new CR roles.

Character Name: Lust
Character Summary: Villain, and a nasty one too. My idea (which is fully subject to mod approval and adaptable depending on what kind of CR she gets) is that she's a dead woman from Vacuo who was brought back to 'life' either by a grieving boyfriend who made the mistake of pleading to one of the gods and got a monkey's paw wish, or by a morally bankrupt researcher experimenting on Grimm and human fusions. Either way, the result is an unnatural abomination of human corpse fused with Grimm lifeforce. Kinda similar to Cinder in the show, but not really? Almost definitely a member of the Shatterknights.
Family/Friends Requested: None required, but it could be fun to have someone recognize her and be all 'i thought you were dead no wait don't stab my face ahhhhhhhhh'
Ships Requested: I would not say no to a Scar AU and playing up the tragic romance and potential redemption arc. While Lust might kill the boyfriend who brought her to life, she could also have simply injured or scarred him instead. Or the boyfriend could ALSO be the morally bankrupt researcher and they can be soulless and evil together.
Enemies Requested: If you need someone to ruin your life and kill people you love or otherwise give you a tragic backstory via Shatterknights, I am here for you.
Character Name: Leblanc
Character Summary: More an antagonist than a villain, but definitely a lawless sort who does whatever the hell she wants. She could be a Dust thief or someone who tries to steal valuable historical artifacts (either to learn more about Remnant's past or for the sake of someone she loves). I love playing incompetent villains who try and fail, almost as much as I love villains who will ultimately do the right thing when push comes to shove and fight Grimm. She's just kinda, y'know, selfish? Egotistical? Flamboyant?
Friendly CR Requested: Please give her minions and we can make a not-totally-criminal faction for fellow misfits and losers.
Ships Requested: I would be thrilled to have someone Leblanc can obsess over, especially if he's morally ambiguous so she can support his passions. Could be a member of the White Fang so people sideeye her SUPER HARD for being a human fawning over a Faunus.
Enemies Requested: A platonic rivalry with a good girl type (like Yuna) could be super fun! Leblanc is more of a fluffy villain, she's not out to hurt anyone. She's just incredibly passionate and competitive.
Character Name: Faetan Jarl
Character Summary: Yet another villain! This one is a physical brute, and either a prominent member of a bandit/pirate tribe or a leader, happy to play either role if someone wants to make a villainous duo or faction along those lines. 5'10", brawny, high WIS low INT (you don't see a lot of education when you're too busy mugging people), crude, and ambitious. Definitely the type of person who would ingest Dust to fuse it with her body for extra oomph, so I guess an Elementalist? Haven't thought of a Semblance yet!
Family Requested: Long lost family could be fun, especially if she's got a bastard asshole charismatic father. I'd be very interested in siblings, especially if they grew up in the tribe together. Criminal families are fun.
Friendly CR Requested: Fellow bandits/pirates! A leader to follow, or people to follow her!
Ships Requested: Uhhhhhhhhhh I'll get back to you on that one. I'm a sucker for redemption arcs, but fellow bandit bastards in love could also be really fun.
Enemies Requested: I'm here for that negative CR, baby! Rival bandits, law enforcement types, people she mugged, etc. Faetan is a brute and isn't above killing people so long as they're not kids or helpless women. Could also tweak the noses of the nobility and wealthy.
Character Name: King Hippo
Character Summary: A big dumb idiot bully who punches people for fun. Not sure if he'll even have a Semblance. MAYBE? Lots of Aura, though. Basically your average thug who follows the orders of someone much smarter than him.
Friendly CR Requested: A smart boss, and a smart-ish cohort who's also a minion, so they can go on missions together and fail constantly.
Enemies Requested: If you're a do-gooder, he'll want to punch you. And eat your lunch. And your lunch money.
Character Name: Zelda
Character Summary: A first-year student who would be the rookie of all rookies. Probably from Atlas, daughter of a researcher who didn't want her to pursue such a dangerous profession, so maybe a Hunter/Negotiator? Semblance is Recall - if she touches an object, she can see the last 24 hours involving that object the last time it was touched (useful for her archaeological pursuits and interest, but not so great in combat). Later when she's had more training in both combat and the use of her Semblance, the Recall ability will also recharge a weapon/item with all the previous times Dust was used on it.
Family Requested: I mean, if you really want to play the dad, I'd be happy with that! A big sister or warrior female cousin she looks up to would also be really cool.
Friendly CR Requested: Yes please! Let's form a new team!
Ships Requested: Zelda will be from a big city, and thus more emotional than, say, a rural country guy who knows how to live off the land and makes a habit of fighting Grimm, so there could be some fun misunderstandings which lead to a deep friendship and more...
Enemies Requested: She's got a wealthy family, access to a lot of Dust, and a reckless streak, I'm sure someone might want to go after her. Atlesians aren't especially well-liked to begin with, so that could also be a factor.
Character Name: Jevon Stone
Character Summary: School counselor, or just run of the mill counselor. A psychologist that helps people repress or diminish negative emotions has to be pretty valuable in this kind of setting! He's blunt and fussy, not exactly the warm and cuddly emotional counselor you might want, but I enjoy playing him a lot.
Family Requested: Not sure! My default position with family is that he's either disowned from parents of wealth and influence, or just very distant and doesn't generally talk to his parents much. Ordinarily I play him as an only child, but I'm open to having blood relations.
Friendly CR/Ships Requested: People who put up with his fussiness and tease him in a playful way are excellent foils to the stuffy counselor. He has a soft spot for flirty and headstrong redheads, especially if they have a hidden tragic side they'll show to him.
Enemies Requested: I am not opposed to Jevon being killed off, so come at me. (9'_')9
Drizz | Maleficent, Sisu, Rakka, Mogar
Character Name: Maleficent
Character Summary: Teacher at one of the huntsmen academies, and possibly the premier Dust specialist of Remnant. So skilled with the different combinations that she is rumored to be magic... but those are just rumors, surely? May secretly be an accomplish for the villains, and putting forth great efforts to experiment with new and potentially fatal combinations of Dust.
Family Requested: God do you really want to be related to her??? Like, if you want to be a child, or even a grandchild, sure I guess???
Friendly CR Requested: She's courteous if you understand that she's better than you. So.
Ships Requested: Femme fatales and villains of all kinds!!! Harken to me.
Enemies Requested: YES. Teacher rivals and rival-rivals. Meddlesome teenage brats she can throw lightning at. Give me your all.
Character Name: Sisu
Character Summary: A sea dragon Faunus (with gills and a somewhat "leafy" appearance) who tried to become a huntress but despite being a extremely good swimmer, she still flunked out while her siblings went on to become more successful than her. Sisu tries not to let it get her down, and still tries to make something of herself.
Family Requested: Dragon siblings!! Dragon parents!! Whatever you have.
Friendly CR Requested: Sisu is the life of the party, so if you really want to be friends with her, it is not hard at all. She'll befriend literally anyone.
Ships Requested: Sisu doesn't have a type. She just.... will fall in love with anyone I think?? So throw out your ideas.
Enemies Requested: Nah. Sisu's not one for enemies.
Character Name: Rakka
Character Summary: A crow Fanus from Mistral. Went to Mistral's Huntsmen academy and, despite some middling grades, including her fighting style, she managed to pass initiation and end up on a team - not as captain though. (Thank goodness.) Her weapon consists of a chakram that functions as a boomerang if she throws it.
Family Requested: Sure!! Parents, siblings, whatever you want!
Friendly CR Requested: Teammates! Help me come up with a team name. Other students she spends time with too!
Ships Requested: Someone she can develop a strong emotional bond with. Big fan of "opposites attract". If you want someone who will pick you up and stay by your side, Rakka's your girl.
Enemies Requested: Bullies?? Rival teams that want to start shit just for the heck of it? Go ahead.
Character Name: Mogar
Character Summary: The strangest thing... A kid abandoned by his parents in the forests of Mistral, growing up among the animals and Grimm, who not only survived but became stronger for it. He dresses like a bear (Ursa?) despite not being a Faunus himself. Speaks tersely and is, generally, pretty uneducated, but is unnaturally strong.
Family Requested: N/A
Friendly CR Requested: Anyone who wants to get to know this wild man?? Shove him on a team, it'll be great. He'll be an excellent tank.
Ships Requested: gestures at bear man. maaaybe not.
Enemies Requested: Literally anyone. Fight him. He'll fight you. He'll fight the teachers. He'll fight the villains. He'll kick his own ass.

Character Name: Aoi
Character Summary: A recent transplant from Atlas, probably reluctantly. This girl just wants to make friends and not have to worry, but feels she has to train and learn how to fight to keep the world safe. Easily flustered, worries about her teammates constantly, and will fixate on one task for hours and not touch anything else she was supposed to do. Also, she fights with a motorized staff that doubles as a mode of transportation. Probably significantly aged up because the setting doesn't take kindly to middle schoolers.
Family Requested: Open to pretty much whatever.
Friendly CR Requested: People she can worry over, people to tease her and make her life harder, who knows. I'm up for it.
Enemies Requested: I mean, if it happens?
Character Name: Midorikawa Maki
Character Summary: 28-year-old failed actress who ended up as some kind of teacher or school staff. Kind of hates her life and is just vibing. Being from a slice-of-life canon, she'd be used more for day-to-day life and non-combat plots.
Friendly CR Requested: Coworkers she can salt with or otherwise know for years at this point.
Ships Requested: Probably nothing pre-established, but I'm open.
Character Name: Kashima Sakura
Character Summary: The elderly head of a major corporation of scientists, who commands a cultlike following... except oops it's actually a literal apocalypse cult. Has the power to "heal" people with the side effect of overwriting part of their mind with her own so they'll be loyal to her. (I'm going to avoid the, uh, brainwashing a bunch of orphans, though, just because of the game rules.) She's also a summoner in canon, but since that has an aspect of "they always use up their life force and die young, why is this one so old," she'd fit Tamer better in this setting.
Ships Requested: Not too many people play senior citizens, but Sakura did have a lover when she was younger who sensibly broke up with her because she was diving head-first into "the apocalypse is good actually." So if anyone old enough wants to be that guy, go ahead, since I sincerely doubt anyone out there plays Suzaki.
Enemies Requested: She deserves them. In canon, she was the head of one of two shady warring factions, so if anyone wants an evil-versus-evil or evil-versus-grey thing going on, go ahead.
